2. Arm yourself with a book. Reading is great exercise for your brain as it keeps your mind stimulated. Learning new things is also a plus as your imagination soars to new heights and your word power gets an upgrade.
3. Plenty of water is a must. Stay hydrated by drinking a lot of water daily. Water plays a very huge role in all our body functions. It also cleanses the body and improves your skin for an added boost of confidence!
4. Positivity is a plus. Try to keep your head up high and channel positive energy no matter what the situation may be. A positive outlook makes you less irritable and removes the heavy burden that negative vibes bring.
5. Identify who you are. Embrace your uniqueness and always strive to the best version of yourself. Believe in your capabilities because there's nothing you can't accomplish with hard work and perseverance.
6. Neatness is a virtue. Keep your body and surroundings clean and orderly. Cleanliness protects against bacteria build- up that may cause sickness or allergies.
7. Exercise daily. Time to stretch and tone those muscles! Working out keeps your body strong and flexible while boosting your body's protection of endorphins (also known as the happy hormone!).
8. Sleep is important. Experts say that tweens should get 10 to 11 hours of sleep each night. As you sleep each night. As you sleep, your body rests and recharges itself. Sleeping has positive effects on growth and helps keep you from getting sick.
9. Smile more often. Smiling creates a mind and body connection -- whenever you smile, messages are sent to your brain telling it that you are in a good mood. Smiling can also make you more attractive. Start your day with a smile and spread the love by sharing it with others!
